Corporate Welfare
In the first part of the following video, nuclear engineer Arnie Gunderson discusses how to keep any new nuclear power plants from being built.
He discusses how the weak Achilles heel of the nuclear industry is that it needs taxpayers to fund it with corporate welfare, or it would be dead, due to lack of any investor, insurance company or anyone else.
Warren Buffet looked at nuclear power and could not figure out how to make money with it. If he cannot do this, how can the average person justify putting taxpayer money into it?
A panel chaired by Karen Charman with Mary Olson, whistleblower Arnie Gunderson, and Miche Lee, detail the environmental inappropriateness and danger of nuclear power and centralized coal power plants. They discuss what happened around Three Mile Island, and why nuclear power plants are a bad idea, no matter what.
She mentions how the TMI class action Judge Rambo concluded that stress and mental problems caused all problems after TMI, and that radiation had no effect on anyone. He dismissed not only eight out of ten experts on the class action claimants side, he also dismissed the whole lawsuit after it had been going on for several years. Judge Rambo said; “They did not prove their case, because all health effects were due to stress or mental problems.”
Yet, the NRC and other federal government agencies and/or Congress did not allow any psychological effects, stress or mental anguish reasons to be considered when it made a decision to restart the remaining Three Mile Island nuclear reactor.
Even the PUC is playing the nuclear bandit game according to these speakers. The states are passing laws that allow public utilities involved with nuclear power to cooperate together across state boundaries, and then to force local towns to accept nuclear power, even if they are opposed to it on a local level. How does this work?
These same utility companies also utilize coal energy, so if a town does not like coal as their primary energy source, they are forced into nuclear, or vice versa.
Either way, it is much like a bandit forcing people to trade money for dirty energy that pollutes their towns and many future generations suffer from the consequences.

Although A Green Road does not agree with this method, Anarchists seem to think that nuclear power is not good around human beings to the point where they have decided that they are going to use violence as a solution.
It may be that they believe this is the only way, because there seems to be no way for the average person to have any ‘voice’ in this debate. This ‘no voice’ results in anarchists starting to take matters into their own hands.

There is more than one way to interpret anarchy. Here is another way to view anarchy when viewed through the lens of freedom and non violence.
According to Wikipedia, “the Masque of Anarchy is a political poem written in 1819 (see 1819 in poetry) by Percy Bysshe Shelley following the Peterloo Massacre of that year. In his call for freedom, it is perhaps the first modern statement of the principle of nonviolent resistance.
The poem was not published during Shelley’s lifetime and did not appear in print until 1832 (see 1832 in poetry), when published by Edward Moxon in London with a preface by Leigh Hunt.[1] Shelley had sent the manuscript in 1819 for publication in The Examiner. Community Activism
What this poem is pointing is the principle that no 1 percent can hold power over 99 percent when the 99 percent have decided that this is no longer going to happen. When the people rise up and demand something, they will get it, one way or another.

Bottom line, the 99 percent agree, that monopolies should have no hold on political power.

In Japan, over 50 lawyers are collaborating to keep all nuclear power plants shut down. This strategy can be extended globally, with lawyers in each country collaborating and suing to close down power plants, using the hundreds of scientific studies that show evidence of harm.
Small Claims Court
On a personal side, individual citizens can sue nuclear companies for harm in small claims court. By combining large numbers of people, large amounts of money can start switching hands. This also takes up their time, which they have to pay for.
The playing field is relatively level in small claims court, because the nuclear apologists have to represent themselves, with no lawyer present.

Petition International and National Human Rights Organizations
There are also possible ways to go to human rights organizations or the World Court. “Chris Busby talks about using International Human Rights and Environment laws to raise the issue of the requirement built into the EURATOM Basic Safety Standards Directive by the Greens in the European Parliament to force re-assessment of Justification for all practices involving public exposures to radiation if new and important scientific evidence appears.
This begins with a simple demand to the Environment Minister of the Member State country and also a Petition to the European Parliament. Then if the Minister refuses to order a reassessment take the case to the European Courts.

One strategy would be to send copies of this port of the Geneva Convention to the 1%; just a few public and private individuals who are responsible for the nuclear catastrophes.
Another strategy would be to for a coalition of nations that are nuclear free to take certain key individuals to the Hague, with genocide charges, based on the legal assertion that they are endangering public safety and committing genocide on a global basis through nuclear emissions, accidents, etc.

The way to live off the grid is to use all 12 volt small appliances and electronics. Here is an example of one person doing it. Obviously, if enough people switched to this kind of lifestyle, there would be no more need for more nuclear power plants.
Another version of this is to live on a sail powered boat, which is powered by solar panels. A sailboat can also serve as a sort of nuclear fallout insurance policy, because if you hear about it in time, you can jump in the boat and head out of the way of any fatal plumes of radiation, even if all the borders are shut down and no one is allowed to leave by air.

Women Have All The Power
This problem with war, nuclear power plants and more can all end very quickly and in a very positive way, if women stop having ‘intimate relations’ with all the men who hold the reigns of power via the 1% involved with promoting or propping up nuclear, weapons of mass destruction, war mongering, monopolistic corporations, etc.
Women have all of the power, no matter what the men say or think.
All problems would be solved in a couple of weeks if women decided NO MO of that sweet stuff, until the men decide to do the right thing.
Spiritual/Religious
Prayer has a role and purpose. Pray that nuclear and all other dirty fuels are left behind and that new, clean, zero carbon energy comes in rapidly, with the creation of many new jobs. If prayer is combined into prayer chains, it can move mountains, even nuclear mountains. Get your church or other organization involved in a regular prayer chain. Unleash some prayer warriors on this problem. Miracles can result.
Spiritual and religious leaders can talk about all of the above, and be the leaders of this change.
