This film investigates the parallel stories of collapsing Pacific salmon populations and how biologists and engineers have become instruments in audacious experiments to replicate every stage of the fish’s life cycle.
It goes into the role of dams, locks and man’s attempts at ‘controlling’ Nature, and what effect this has on salmon as well as the whole ecosystem.
This is a very well done story, and is highly recommended for family viewing.
