In Japan, a beef scare is spreading, as news of contaminated beef spreads, despite government assurances that all is safe. So how did this happen, and what is going on now at Fukushima Daichi?
In 2011, the worst nuclear accident in history happened at Fukushima Daichi. Nuclear expert Gunderson describes what is happening now.. He states that highly toxic radiation continues to come out of this whole Fukushima complex which consists of numerous blown out reactors, melted down coriums, and melted down or blown up spent fuel pools.
Because this accident spread huge amounts of toxic, contaminating and deadly nuclear radiation in all directions, all around the world in fact, the government ordered a ban on exporting or eating of any animals, produce, fruit or rice from a wide area around Fukushima to any other area. This was a sensible thing to do, because the invisible and toxic radiation from Fukushima Daichi got into the water, the land, and the animals or people staying anywhere closer than 200 miles from the plant. The contamination found in animals started with just a ‘few’ animals, but quickly grew to huge numbers. The initial testing was only exterior, which did NOT measure internal radiation and was highly ineffective. (This is why they only found ‘a few’ perhaps?) Many highly contaminated cows were being sold as ‘safe’, when they were actually severely contaminated with radiation, and these cows were consumed by people, even school children. Even the ‘faux’ ban on exporting animals from contaminated regions was only a temporary ban however.
Japan did NOT continue widespread food testing and quality control to eliminate foods with high levels of radiation. Instead, the government lifted food bans. They invited everyone to come back into Fukushima province and surrounding areas, declaring the nuclear accident over and done with. They had magically achieved ‘cold shutdown’. The radiation has somehow magically disappeared, and all was ‘normal’ again. Schools inside Fukushima Province (the most severely affected) were re-opened and students were invited to come back and attend schools. The Japanese government said in effect, that the nuclear accident NEVER HAPPENED. As a result, millions of people are still being exposed to high doses of radiation inside of the food and drinks they consume all over Japan, and around the world as well.
The government and nuclear industry realized that if it truly banned the sale of all foods that were contaminated, and millions of people were evacuated to foreign countries, the economy of Japan would collapse. No seafood, no beef, no rice, no vegetables, no fruit, no fresh water fish, no beans, no herbs, no seeds, no nuts, no tea, no trees; NOTHING edible or used for construction could be sold for the next 10,000 years if they REALLY wanted to keep people safe. This accident would realistically cost Japan around 10 TRILLION Dollars, which would bankrupt even a rich nation.
This of course, could not be allowed to happen. Nor could the nuclear industry be blamed, because that would cause that very profitable industry to collapse as well, globally. So the mass media was used to deceive people, and to fool them into thinking nothing was wrong.
According to Gunderson, the radioactive contamination from Fukushima Daichi spread as far south as Tokyo, covering about 50% of the whole country of Japan.
MILLIONS of people would have to be evacuated and thousands of square kilometers would have to be declared uninhabitable, much more than was done around Chernobyl, if Japan did what Russia did in order to protect at least some people.
Japan is a small country in comparison to Russia. They are not able to afford this kind of shut down. Their national debt before the accident was LARGER than that of Greece which is in the news constantly about threats of it going bankrupt; and Greece has had no major nuclear accident. The nation of Japan cannot afford to put millions of people out of work and throw them out of their homes and towns permanently. So what did they do?
The dangers of eating radioactive contaminated food are actively being downplayed, as the first video shows. The mass media urges people to buy, consume and drink contaminated foods and drinks. Because it is profitable, beef, rice and seafood from contaminated areas around Fukushima is being sold once again, both locally and internationally. After Chernobyl, strict controls were put in place in several countries, to protect the public from radiation contamination in foods. This did not happen after Fukushima. It seems that quite the opposite is happening.

Until people understand and resist what huge corporations are doing, this will most likely continue, with nuclear accidents being covered up, denied and minimized, while millions of people get sick and/or die.
