An amendment limiting the law enforcement powers of the ATF couldn’t be worse if the NRA wrote it themselves — which it did. The NRA wrote a law that gutted the ATF and prevented it from doing the job of addressing gun violence. 


Yet, somehow, for some strange reason, the NRA is still saying that states should allow the ATF to do the job of preventing gun violence, and thus, do nothing. 

The complexity of gun control requires all solutions not directly related to guns be on the table.
