Green, Sustainable Hydrogen Powered Trains And Locomotives

Today, trains rely on carbon fuels such as oil and diesel fuel to power them. Just one railroad is the biggest single fuel user right behind the US military. Imagine what would happen if all trains were powered by clean, odorless hydrogen, instead of smelly, toxic and global warming fuels such as diesel?

Burning hydrogen produces no global warming emissions, just pure, clean water; clean enough to drink.

Engineering students built a small scale model of a hydrogen locomotive in the UK. Watch it in operation here…
