The rates of conjoined twins and teratomas also seem to be elevated. In Polissia, the overall rates of neural tube defects are even higher (27.0 vs 18.3, respectively; odds ratio: 1.46 [95% confidence interval: 1.13–1.93]), and the rates of microcephaly and microphthalmia may also be elevated.

Isn’t it odd that WHO never mentions low dose radiation as a cause for ANY genetic defects, despite studies linking low dose radiation to all kinds of genetic diseases and a huge number of deaths? Maybe radiation doesn’t cause 100% of all birth defects, but why don’t they even list this well known cause anywhere, for anything related to children’s or newborns health issues? WHO Key facts for the year 2010
Congenital anomalies (also referred as birth defects) affect approximately 1 in 33 infants and result in approximately 3.2 million birth defect-related disabilities every year.
An estimated 270 000 newborns die during the first 28 days of life every year from congenital anomalies.
Congenital anomalies may result in long-term disability, which may have significant impacts on individuals, families, health-care systems and societies.
The most common serious congenital disorders are heart defects, neural tube defects and Down syndrome.
Congenital anomalies may have a genetic, infectious or environmental origin; although in most of the cases it is difficult identify their cause.
(Notice, that there is no mention of radiation, thanks to their ‘agreement’ with IAEA which does not allow them to talk about damaging effects of radiation at all.)
About 110,000 cases of babies born with congenital rubella syndrome can be prevented through timely vaccination of the mothers during childhood and the reproductive years.
Many birth anomalies can be prevented and treated. An adequate intake of folic acid, iodine, vaccination, and adequate antenatal care are key. (How about getting rid of nuclear power plants?)
Congenital anomalies and preterm birth are important causes of childhood death, chronic illness, and disability in many countries. In 2010 the World Health Assembly adopted a resolution calling all Member States to promote primary prevention and the health of children with congenital anomalies by:
developing and strengthening registration and surveillance systems;
developing expertise and building capacity;
strengthening research and studies on aetiology, diagnosis and prevention;
promoting international cooperation.

The only problem with the above chart is that it completely ignores the fact that 2,400 open air nuclear tests, which resulted in a huge increase in cancers, birth defects and other health issues. Doctors and public health researchers put pressure on policy makers to stop this open air testing as a result of this public health epidemic.

Infant Death Rates
The infant death rate for children born in 2009 with a reportable birth defect is 44.5 per 1,000. This compares to an infant death rate of 7.3 per 1,000 for all resident infants born in Michigan during 2009. The relative risk of infant mortality among children with a birth defect was 7 in 2009. Birth defect rates were higher in 2009 than the rates between 2005-2008, while infant mortality were 7.3 deaths per 1,000 live births, rates were stable, at 7.8 deaths per 1,000 live births between 2005-2008. Why are the well known and well researched facts and studies in the links above, completely ignored by the local and state health departments who research newborn, infant and child deaths? The answer will shock and amaze you later on this article, if you don’t already know the answer.
The DOUBLING of child mortality and the rise in cancers, genetic diseases and other health issues should be cause for ALARM and outrage by parents, but nothing changes, nothing happens, and the problems keep getting worse and worse. No one looks in the direction of low dose radiation.. Why not?
WHY WON’T HEALTH AGENCIES LOOK AT ALL POTENTIAL CAUSES OF THESE DEATHS AND HEALTH ISSUES?
What we have learned at this point is that the doctors, medical associations, the CDC and WHO are all supposed to be looking for root causes for health problems. They all ‘claim’ to be doing that, but in fact, as we can see from what they write, they really DON’T look for root causes, especially if the cause is radiation.

The nuclear industry trained experts all ignore and deny this as a root cause of birth defects, completely and absolutely. They may very well be finding and trying to prevent vitamin deficiencies such things as folic acid deficiency, but when it comes to low dose radiation, they are not even looking for it. Why is that? Could it have anything to do with the fact that they are trained as medical professionals to see and use this same man made artificial radiation as a therapy that heals people?
The evidence is right there, in front of their noses. If they would open their eyes and look at their own research, they would see the clear and convincing evidence of harm from low dose radiation exposure.

WHO mentions many causes for birth defects, but one thing stands out for NOT being mentioned, anywhere, and that is low dose radiation. This makes sense though, when we now know that WHO signed an agreement with the marketing arm of the nuclear industry, IAEA.

The WHO many years ago agreed to never research, talk about, or explore radiation and health. WHO agreed that they would NEVER do or say anything around nuclear accidents without permission from the IAEA. Since they will never get permission, it effectively muzzles the UN agency responsible for anything related to health around radiation.
The IAEA is the marketing arm of the nuclear agency, so this secrecy and denial agreement makes them VERY happy, ensuring many generations of suffering children with birth defects, and no one will ever know why.
Nothing could make the nuclear industry more happy than to keep WHO quiet about the deadly effects of low dose radiation. Bottom line, there is no ‘safe’ dose of radiation. Even one nano particle of radiation, or one Xray, has been proven by numerous studies to create birth defects or deaths.

Viarogerthat November 30, 2014 … Speaking on condition of anonymity while proving his credentials, the Hanford engineer stressed that while he is working there, he has advised younger members of his family not to even live within a radius of at least 100 – 150 miles around the reservation. He noted that both the open garbage disposal pits, leaking containers at “parking lots”, leaking tanks and other sources of contamination endanger the population around the Hanford reservation by releasing a cohort of radioactive isotopes or hot particles including plutonium into the air and the groundwater. He added that bringing up the issue of “hot particle contamination” at the Hanford site is equivalent to being fired at the spot, manhandled like a criminal, and the prospect of unemployment for the remainder of one’s life.
