COMPLETE GLOBAL MEDIA BLACKOUT REGARDING FUKUSHIMA, OR ANTI NUCLEAR ANYTHING
Despite a massive Live Demonstration in Tokyo, Japan, there was no mention of it in the Japan Times = nothing. NHK News; very short, no size of crowd mentioned, reference to twitter posts only, no pictures or video at all.
No other mass media news outlet mentioned this or other protests against nuclear power anywhere in the world. The mass media did not and still does not cover this or other anti nuclear protests. The narrator says this lack of news coverage about what is REALLY happening, reminds him of living in a Communist dictatorship, where the news is tightly censored and controlled by a few people at the top.
It is important to understand that protests of any kind are VERY uncommon in Japan. People in Japan are polite, told to get along, and not to resist what is happening as a general rule. They let the leaders do whatever they think is best, even if they disagree.
The protests since 3/11 are the first time in history that a massive uprising like this has taken place in Japan historically, yet the news did not even cover this first time ever in history event. This same situation exists all around the world. Protests and actions against the nuclear industry are not covered, but lone pro nuclear ‘experts’ are given front and center state, plus extensive news coverage on all mass media stations. Why is this?
Journalism at it’s core is coverage of BOTH sides of an issue, and letting people decide what they believe from there, after debates and discussions. The debate and discussions no longer happen. News is no longer about air both sides of an issue equally when it comes to nuclear anything.

On March 20th 2014, Japanese citizens gathered at the Osaka District Courthouse at the final session of the injunction lawsuit (filed in 2012) against the restart of Fukui Prefecture’s Ohi nuclear reactors units 3 and 4.
2 MEN SUED BY JAPANESE GOVERMENT FOR OCCUPYING PUBLIC SPACE AND PROTESTING
On March, 2013, two men who are protesting the restart of nuclear plants in Japan were sued by the government due to occupying the national ground without any permission. Taro Fuchigami and Taichi Masakiyo are defendants.

5,000 PEOPLE SUE TEPCO FOR DUMPING HIGH LEVEL RADIOACTIVE WASTE INTO PACIFIC
Complainants for Criminal Prosecution of the Fukushima Nuclear Disaster are suing TEPCO (Tokyo Electric Power Co.) for allowing high level radioactive liquids to go into the Pacific Ocean, directly from multiple nuclear reactors.
They already tried to get criminal charge against TEPCO, Dec 18 in 2013, but the lawsuit was dismissed by the court without any hearing. Now there are over 5,000 citizens who are plaintiffs for this second accusation. The nuclear industry does not care about either damaging the environment, contaminating communities, or causing radiation damage to people. They also do not care about radiation contamination of the Pacific Ocean.
17 LAWSUITS GOING IN JAPAN AGAINST NUCLEAR INDUSTRY
Many victims of the Fukushima nuclear accident have been suing Tokyo Electric Power Company (TEPCO) and the Japanese government in courts. According to the Tokyo Shimbun (Tokyo News Paper) April 7th, 2014, there are 17 lawsuits of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear accident in the district courts and there are about 6,800 plaintiffs in Japan. The movement of suing TEPCO in courts is spreading nationwide now.
JAPANESE PEOPLE ARE SUING TO GET THEIR LIVES, HOMES, PROPERTY AND HEALTH BACK TO ‘NORMAL’
One lawsuit that has been filed is called “Put Livelihood and Home Back” lawsuit. Plaintiffs have asked TEPCO and the Japanese government to restore everything back to the original condition. In court, plaintiffs are asking for decontamination down to 0.4 micro Sievert per hour air radiation dose, which is the same amount as was found before the accident. Against this claim, TEPCO argued if they decontaminate populated areas that are currently over 1 m/Sv per year, it would cost about $5,130,000,000 Billion Yen, according to the report of the Advanced Industrial Science and Technology. THE REALITY OF DECONTAMINATION EFFORTS IS THAT IT IS A FAILURE
Realistically, it is not possible to decontaminate lands and property down to the level that existed before the 3/11 mega nuclear disaster in Japan. In Soviet Russia, the government tried to ‘decontaminate’ around Chernobyl, using 1 million people and the massive military that Soviet Russia had back then, and they failed for the most part.
The one success that the pro nuclear industry in The Soviet Union achieved by sacrificing the lives of 1 million ‘decontamination’ workers was that the Chernobyl nuclear plant was kept open and operating, since only one unit blew up. Workers still travel through the radioactive contaminated exclusion zone to go to work at the Chernobyl nuclear plant, located right next to the blown up, melted out skeleton that is what remains.
The huge Chernobyl exclusion zones are the result and aftermath of this massive decontamination effort. No one can live or work in these large sacrificed radioactive wasteland areas, where radiation is too high and too dangerous to even enter and visit.

Japanese citizens have been led to believe that everything can be ‘cleaned up’ and decontaminated by the government and nuclear industry, so that they can move back to their ancestral homeland, houses, occupations, villages, sacred places, and farms. They are being asked to ‘wait’ as this decontamination happens. The reality is that this cleanup is not possible.
