  1. Why doesn’tdurnford bring someone with him? Why doesn’t he at least bring, a geiger counter, or scintillometer to take some readings. He could take some readings on lichens or rocks above water on low tide. He has that expensive sailboat. Why not have more of a real expedition? So strange

    1. Tim, it takes very expensive sophisticated equipment normally only found in a physics lab to do the testing that you are pointing at. Testing food, plants and animals is very difficult and expensive. The equipment alone could easily cost 500 K to over 1 million for new state of the art scientific standard equipment. And that is not counting the building or lab…

  2. Not true I have a gamma scinillometer that cost 400 and detected, rads in lichen, in california. I also have a rad 100, with an alpha window, that cost 200. I got some sea water by Hawaii, set it in the sun to evaporate. I detected rads in the condenaste. That is just not true! I jus t do not get it!

  3. Not tru. A cheap, used inspector can detect alpha . Can pickup rads from condensates, lichen mushroom.

    1. Would love to see a video about someone doing this. It is one thing to go out and do readings with a used inspector geiger counter. It is quite another to have sophisticated lab equipment in an actual community based center with an organized group behind it. Why not join Dana and provide all of the services that you desire to see?

  4. Dana supports rightwing ,nut alex jones who supports trump. Trump is an evil nuclear devil. Durnford has gone after the throat of Chris Busby, a real nuclear activist and expert.

  5. Why does durnford espouse rightwing propagandists who support Trump? Trump is plunging the world, into further nuclear madness. Why does Durnford go after Dr Busby?

Go ahead and sugarcoat things. That is not an antinuclear community. Much of it, makes things worse. More selfishness for dark money, and contradictory nonsense. For rightwing maniacs, who want to nuke the world, anyway.

His antics, do nothing to stop, people being forced back to Fukushima. Nothing, to stop nukes opened in Japan, or anywhere else. A great deal is heartless, self-promoting sensationalism. Many times it uses the information of antinuc people, who have worked for many years, to get out and makes many others skeptical of the dangers of nuclear, which are so real and murderous.
