In Face Of Spiraling Sex Scandal, Pope Francis Calls For ‘Silence’ | Daily Wire
With a major sex scandal rocking the Catholic Church, Pope Francis is calling for “silence and prayer” in answer to what he said were those seeking “scandal” and “division.”
“With people who lack goodwill, with people who seek only scandal, who seek only division, who seek only destruction, even within the family, there is nothing but silence and prayer,” Francis said during a service on Monday.
He added that “the truth is humble, the truth is silent” and concluded with the prayer, “May the Lord give us the grace to discern when we should speak and when we should stay silent.”
The pope has ignored demands that he address allegations made last month that he covered up sexual abuse allegations against a prominent U.S. cardinal, Theodore McCarrick, for more than five years. The charges came from Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, a former Vatican envoy to Washington, who said the pope knew about allegations against McCarrick but did nothing.
Silence and secrecy plus cover ups is what the top down 1 percent controlled hierarchy has been doing for hundreds of years.
Maybe it is time for something different.. ????
