Largest coalition of Christian churches in U.S. demands Kavanaugh nomination be withdrawn

On Wednesday, he lost the support of a whole bunch of Christian churches, as the National Council of Churches—a coalition of 38 denominations, the largest of its kind—published a statement demanding that his beleaguered nomination process to the Supreme Court be stopped, once and for all.

The National Council of Churches (NCC) calls for the withdrawal of the nomination of Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court of the United States.  We believe he has disqualified himself from this lifetime appointment and must step aside immediately.

  1. Are they serious? Considering how sick and perverted hundreds of church leaders and priests are I think they should worry about the plank in their own eye and not the splinter in Kavanaugh’s.

    1. It is actually a great sign, that even those that may have supported Trump before are now jumping ship. This is how things change, one organization, one church, one business, one non profit at a time. Let’s give them credit and join them in opposing Trump and his SCOTUS Kavanaugh nominee. The dominoes may fall in just the right way, if everyone stands up and is counted in some form or fashion. Never give up,
