Sen. Harris grills FBI director until he admits White House limited Kavanaugh investigation
So the sham investigation went forward and the FBI didn’t interview nearly two dozen former classmates of Ford, Kavanaugh, second accuser Deborah Ramirez, and Kavanaugh’s friend Mark Judge, witnesses who said they had corroborating information. Sen. Kamala Harris and millions of women (and ally men) want to know why these corroborating witnesses were not interviewed. That leads us to this moment, with FBI director Christopher Wray sitting before former prosecutor Harris at a Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee hearing, Wray’s first appearance before any Senate committee since the sham investigation. Sen. Harris wasted no time getting to the facts of the matter: the White House most definitely limited the scope of the investigation and did NOT investigate any allegations of perjury by Kavanaugh’s, something that should have been disqualifying by itself.
AGR; NO Surprise that 45 lied yet again. He claimed that he did not limit the investigation, when in fact, he did. And then Republicans covered it all up, by claiming they did a complete investigation, and keeping the report TOP SECRET.
