The most interesting part of the Black Plague of the 1300 to the 1800’s is the fact that people never connected the dots. Medical doctors and scientists had all kinds of theories, from witches, to sinful behaviour, to dogs, to punishment by God, etc. They never figured out the root cause of the Black Plague that went around the world to many countries, and killed an estimated 50-70% of the population affected.
