Watch: Roger Stone complains about ‘censorship’ and says Trump should pardon Julian Assange in unhinged CNN interview
“I have to raise $2 million because I’m not a wealthy man and the legal expenses so far have been very damaging and very devastating, plus the censorship of my radio show on Infowars,” he added. “The censorship of my Facebook page has made the selling of my books more difficult. So I have to raise a lot of money to defend myself.”
Such legal fees are “typical,” Stone said.
“We saw this with [indicted former Trump national security adviser] Gen. Mike Flynn,” he said, “where the legal expenses are such that you end up pleading guilty to a crime that you did not commit. I don’t intend to do that.”
