Polling shows that more and more people see DDT as a failure:

  • 60 percent disapprove of DDT’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.
  • 65 percent think that the pandemic is getting worse.
  • 51 percent support the Black Lives Matter movement with only 32 percent in opposition.
  • 70 percent think that the U.S. is headed in the wrong direction with only 22 percent disagreeing.
  • 53 percent approve of the Affordable Care Act, and 49 percent want to see it expanded. 
  • 75 percent believe the country is “out of control,” compared to 14 percent who think it’s under control.
  • 81 percent of people ages 65 and older describe the country in a fiasco; 68 percent of those ages 30 to 44 agree.
  • 47 percent approve of DDT’s economy, 16 percent lower than January. This was to have been the lynchpin of his campaign.
  • 12 percent are satisfied with the state of the nation, down from 55 percent in April. Only 19 percent of Republican are satisfied.
  • 39 percent approve of DDT.
  • 37 percent believe DDT has the right experience to be president; 61 percent believe DDT doesn’t have the right experience.
  • 67 percent think Biden has the right experience to be president.

For the first time in over 50 years of polling, more people want more immigration to the U.S. than those who want to cut immigration—34 percent to 28 percent.

The Wells Fargo/Gallup Investor and Retirement Optimism Index dropped 134 points to +4 for the second quarter, the lowest in almost seven years and the biggest quarterly drop in history.

According to a new study, “Europeans’ trust in Trump’s America is gone.”
