Depending on the school and demographics, up to 50 percent of students will drop out or ‘fail’ sometime during K-12 school. Out of the students that are left, who apply for and enter college, another 50% will drop out or ‘fail’ in their pursuit of college or university degrees. Could any business survive, much less succeed if it offered a service, but only 50% of the clients even bothered to complete the service offered, even if it was free? How can the education system claim to be a ‘success’, with dismal statistics like this? It is sad that most kids lose their inborn sense of curiosity and learning by middle school, and after that it is often a struggle to get students to attend school or college, because they learn to ‘hate’ the artificial profit oriented mental intelligence tests that are forced on them.
