The lockdown disaster using the example of Germany versus Sweden

Sweden never had to wear a mask, schools, shops, restaurants and hotels were always open, people met, social life continued to be more or less normal, life never became anti-social. People who commute between Sweden and Austria report enormous differences in mood in the two countries.

Clearly to see – there is almost no difference. However, there are huge differences in the maintenance of democracy in Sweden and its gradual abolition in Germany. And of course in unemployment and in people’s wellbeing and mental health. Sweden’s path is evidently vastly superior; German politics and its advisors have failed across the board. Or maybe it was and is on purpose.
