The CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in the US) published, in May 2020, an article on the effectiveness of various control measures in reducing the transmission of the common flu. These are the conclusions:

“WE FIND NO EVIDENCE that facemasks are effective in reducing laboratory-confirmed influenza transmission, either when worn by infected persons or by persons in the general community.”

“WE FIND NO EVIDENCE of a significant effect of hand hygiene on laboratory-confirmed influenza virus transmission”

  1. ” I AM NOT A PERFECT HUMAN ‘, although if SOME humans were more in tune with their body when it comes to common colds and influenza these ailments can be avoided, some individuals tend to let things linger before taking over the counter medications or visiting a medical professional.
