A 66-year-old man received a booster dose of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine in his right arm October of 2021 and 10 days later experienced severe pain and swelling in right underarm that persisted for months…
Finally, patient presented to medical clinic 3 months later. Physical assessment revealed severely painful, and mobile, lymphadenopathy in right axillary (swollen lymph node underarm), and supraclavicular area (near collar bone), same arm as injection.
As a final note, this and other data indicated a similar finding. Specifically, cases of non-Hodgkin lymphoma that immediately followed mRNA vaccination which illuminated the need for better cancer surveillance post COVID-19 vaccination.
