FDR deliberately provoked Japan from 1939 to 1941 in order to get them to attack Pearl Harbor. FDR deliberately kept the fleet inside Hawaii when it was normally in other places, spread around, in order to reduce the risk of loss. What the US is doing now is much like that and becoming co belligerents in a World War.

Russia is on the receiving end of total war from many nations, which is being portrayed as something that must be totally destroyed, without any identity, culture, or government. Russia is no longer messing around with hybrid war, and they are shifting to TOTAL WAR.

Washington does not want to admit failure. There is a lot of arrogance and delusion, with no understanding of REAL war. There is no awareness of what war really means anymore, because no one serving in US government has served in active warfare.

Ukraine has lost at least 245,000 dead and 35,000 missing. Most of these casualties are due to artillery, combined with intelligence platforms. Russians can fire 60,000 rounds a day, while Ukraine can only do about 10 percent of that and has lost about 10 percent of what Ukraine has lost in terms of manpower.

The Polish population and EU data shows a definite preference for a negotiated solution. There is no evidence that anyone wants to go into a total war with Russia and they realize that they are staring into the abyss.

Russia can no longer trust anyone in the EU or the US.

CIA Director said that NATO should not advance to the border of Russia, because Russia is saying NO to that.

Gilgamesh Allmighty When you talked about the Pols staring into the abyss, I was reminded of the Nietzchche quote. “He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. When you gaze long into an abyss, the abyss also gazes into you.”  I couldn’t help but think that we as Americans have fought with monsters and gazed into the abyss for far too long.
