Currently Google enjoys a virtual GLOBAL monopoly on search technology, which was disruptive all by itself. This in turn gives it power over everyone in the world, because it can tweak the ‘results’ shown to any search query, to allow only specific ‘approved’, corporate friendly, billionaire approved ‘results’ or ‘answers’ from approved sources. Everyone else is demoted by algorithms to the 10th search page or worse, where no one goes, because it takes too long.
