Five Eyes, or FVEY, is an intelligence alliance between Australia, the US, the UK, New Zealand, and of course, Canada, and no less than twenty organizations. First developed to spy on the communists, like everything from that time it’s aged pretty poorly and has since transformed into an organization that spies on billions of private citizens all around the globe.

This change is partially because of the 9/11 attacks and the war on terror, and partially because it’s no fun having citizens if you can’t abuse them. But other countries got jealous of the five eyes clubs, so eventually new, slightly different treaties were signed with more countries…
