Woman who signed letter supporting Kavanaugh finds out he insulted her in yearbook.

The word “Renate” appears at least 14 times in Georgetown Preparatory School’s 1983 yearbook, on individuals’ pages and in a group photo of nine football players, including Judge Kavanaugh, who were described as the “Renate Alumni.” It is a reference to Renate Schroeder, then a student at a nearby Catholic girls’ school.

Kavanaugh’s lawyer claims the yearbook refers to one occasion when Kavanaugh kissed Ms. Dolphin. Kavanaugh’s classmates say he and others in the “fratty” culture insensitively boasted of having sex with various young women. One former student says he was shocked to see that Ms. Dolphin had signed the letter given the references in the yearbook.

One of Ms. Dolphin’s friends who also signed the letter said she was “sickened” by the yearbook’s “Renate” references. I guess a lot of people are figuring out Kavanaugh wasn’t nearly as “respectful” towards women as they were led to believe.
