What can be learned from history and Julian?
A pagan Roman emperor who persecuted Christians and who did not believe in Christ as Messiah, had a plan to rebuild the 3rd Jewish temple in Jerusalem. He was killed while leading a battle, due to not wearing body armor.
This pagan emperor had a plan to rebuild the Jewish temple in Jerusalem, which was opposed by the Christians of his day, because his plan was Anti Christ.. Why? Historically and all the way up to today, 98 percent of Jews living in Palestine, now being called Israel, do not believe in Jesus Christ as Messiah.
Wouldn’t you agree that anyone supporting rebuilding of the 3rd temple requires a belief that someone other than Christ will be a returning Messiah, and/or that the Anti Christ will be the Messiah and rule the world forever?

Christ taught that the living Holy Spirit and Heaven is within people, not in any physical building, including a temple, so rebuilding the 3rd temple is a form of idol worship as well as is killing people to make this happen.

Sacrificing animals inside of any physical temple is also considered idol worship because Christ abolished that part of the Old Testament with his own blood, shed on the Cross. The Red Heifer is a topic deeply embedded in the OT and represents Christ. It is described in Numbers 19:1-21.
